The 2010-11 review of water company performance could not have delivered a starker message to the 10 water and sewerage companies in England and Wales. Reliability and availability of water supply requires addressing. Only three companies had a clean bill of health namely South West Water, Thames and Wessex. Two companies gave Ofwat cause for concern across all three criteria of serviceability, security of supply and leakage namely Severn Trent and Yorkshire.
Mike Levery has completed his re-structuring of the Sheffield based construction and building services company B4G. He commented "B4G has now a firm foundation to move forward in what is a difficult and volatile market sector. Its financial, operational and commercial processes, coupled with a strong and diverse client base should see it beat off its competitors as it looks to secure further maintenance and quoted works contracts."
